LINCS: Texas’ Apprenticeship Model for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities

Join us to learn about the Texas' Supported Apprenticeship Model for individuals with Disabilities. Participants will learn how the Texas Department of Health and Human Services has partnered with employers to develop multiple career pathways for adults with varying disabilities to enter paid internships leading to life-sustaining, long-term employment opportunities. Monty Chamberlain and Glenn Health with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services will offer lessons learned and considerations for other states and jurisdictions considering supported apprenticeship models.
